Chuck Shields, LPC-S, CCTP

Chuck Shields is a licensed professional counselor with over 20 years’ experience working with children, adolescents and college/young professional ages. 

He received his bachelor’s degree at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and two Master’s degrees at Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. He is a board approved supervisor with the Arkansas State Board of Examiners, and a certified clinical trauma provider for adults and adolescents with the International Association of Trauma Professionals. 

Shields worked at Cook Children’s Medical Center in Ft. Worth as a therapist. Most recently, he worked at Vantage Point/Vista as a lead therapist in the therapeutic day treatment unit. He has experience in medical, wilderness experiential, and outpatient settings. Chuck’s strongest experience is with anxiety, mood and personality disorders. 

Chuck resides in Bentonville, enjoying life with his wife and two children. He is an avid trail runner and tells corny jokes.
