ADHD is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by persistent patterns of inattention and/or hyperactivity-impulsivity that interfere with daily functioning or development. According to the DSM-5, individuals with ADHD may exhibit symptoms such as difficulty sustaining attention, forgetfulness, disorganization, impulsive decision-making, or excessive fidgeting.
