Cira Abiseid, LCSW

Cira Abiseid is a Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW) who received their Master of Social Work from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. Cira holds undergraduate degrees in political science and psychology and previously worked in internships at the Children’s Safety Center and 7hills Homeless Center. Prior to becoming a social worker, Cira worked in retail management for over ten years.
Cira has experience in serving children and families who have experienced trauma and is trained in Trauma-Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Cira believes clients are the experts of their own stories and strives to engage all people in collaborative care and healing. Cira focuses on meeting clients where they are and providing validation of their unique perspectives and experiences.
Cira is passionate about working with members of the LGBTQIA+ community and offering a safe and affirming space for clients to reach their goals while working from a holistic perspective. Cira practices from a justice-minded, non-judgmental place and encourages clients to practice self-curiosity and self-compassion. Cira works with all individuals aged 12 and older.
When not working, Cira enjoys spending time with their partner and children enjoying the outdoors in Northwest Arkansas. Cira also enjoys reading, gardening, cooking and baking.
