Kristen Shepherd is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Board Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center in 2020 to provide psychiatric care to children, adolescents and adults. She has worked in mental health care since 2003 and received training and education through the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and the University of South Alabama. Kristen is passionate about mental health care, and loves connecting with people of all backgrounds, educating and guiding using a holistic, integrated approach. She has experience working with concerns such as anxiety, depression, sleep disturbance, trauma, autism, learning difficulties, attention issues, psychosis and more.

When she is not actively practicing nursing, Kristen loves spending time with her family and pursuing new interests and hobbies. She is currently enjoying learning guitar and pickleball. From time to time, she enjoys reading, singing, cooking, running, and yoga.
