Kelley Griffith is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), such certification allows her to treat mental health with medication management for all ages. She began her nursing career by obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Arkansas in Fort Smith in 2011. Her experience and enthusiasm to excel as a nurse in the mental health field led her to further her degree. She received her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Walden University in 2018. She has been working in the psychiatric mental health field for a decade with varying ages of clients including teens, adults, and geriatrics. Her background includes working at an inpatient psychiatric hospital as well as, an outpatient clinic setting. Where she has experience treating anxiety disorders, depression, postpartum depression, psychotic disorders, mood disorders, and more.
Kelley practices with a non-judgmental, empathic, and easygoing approach to help her clients feel safe and encouraged to actively take part in their treatment. Along with educating her clients and their support system on treatment options, therapies, and lifestyle changes. She believes that with the multidisciplinary treatment approach that each can successfully live a life that is not defined by their mental health diagnosis, but one where the client can adapt and can accomplish the challenges of life.
In her free time, Kelley enjoys spending time with her husband and their five children. She loves spending time with her family, being outdoors, camping, painting, and watching her children play sports/school activities.
