Danell Will, LPC

Danell is passionate about guiding individuals to recognize their worth, strengths, and resiliency, so they may step into their full potential. She believes that the therapeutic relationship is the foundation for change and works hard at creating a safe and authentic space for people to explore their life experiences while working towards achieving their personal goals. Danell strives to make all clients feel seen, heard, and genuinely known. She adamantly believes that all people are deserving of affirming and inclusive care and is a proud LGBTQ+ ally and advocate.

Danell has significant experience working with adolescents and adults struggling with various issues including major mental illnesses, PTSD, life adjustments, significant crises, relationship problems, and identity formation. She approaches therapy with a trauma-informed mentality and uses an integrative model of counseling that relies heavily on a strengths-based and person-centered perspective to target each client’s specific needs with empathy and unconditional positive regard. Additionally, she is trained in Eye Movement and Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidenced-based technique that can help people overcome negative side effects and emotional distress from trauma and disturbing life experiences.

Danell is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney with a Bachelor of Science in Family Studies and a Master of Science in Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

When she’s not in office, you will most likely find Danell with her nose in a book, searching for the next binge-worthy documentary, or drinking one too many cups of coffee. She also loves quiet, cool mornings on her porch and finds great joy in pretending she’s the next great pop star during her morning commute.
