Danell Will is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney with a Bachelor of Science in Family Studies and a Master of Science in Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She has experience working with adolescents and adults struggling with various issues including major mental illnesses, life adjustment, significant crisis, relationship problems, and identity formation in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Danell uses an integrative model of counseling, incorporating a variety of therapeutic theories into her strengths-based and person-centered approach to target each client’s specific goals with empathy and unconditional positive regard. She is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which is an evidenced-based technique that can help people overcome negative side effects and emotional distress from trauma and disturbing life experiences. She is passionate about helping individuals successfully navigate life and reach their full potential and she strives to make each client be able to recognize their personal worth and resiliency.
In her free time, she loves to travel with her husband and daughter. She also enjoys hiking the beautiful trails around NWA and is constantly on the hunt for the perfect cup of chai tea.
